Last week George & Bell Consulting hosted two events in Vancouver and Victoria with guest author and actuary, Fred Vettese, and our own actuary and partner, Mike Greschner. Fred spoke on five basic strategies for maximizing retirement income without increasing risk, topics he covers off in detail in his most recent book. Mike reviewed public health coverage and explained areas to consider when reviewing private supplemental insurance to help retirees stretch their savings further.
On Thursday May 23rd, our first event in Victoria at the Coast Hotel in the harbor hosted around 40 attendees. And on Friday May 24th, Fred and Mike presented again to a group of 65 at the IUOE Local 115 auditorium in Burnaby. The presentations were well received and we thank Fred and Mike for educating us and our clients on the myths about Canada’s retirement income and health coverage systems.
