We also advise clients on investment issues for funded pension plans, including:

We have experience with many types of plans and sponsors, from among the largest pension plans in Canada (over 80,000 members) to smaller plans. We act as advocates for our clients on various issues including changes to funding rules, commuted value rules, and various changes to legislation necessary for our clients’ plans to improve sustainability in light of long-term objectives.

Our work for sponsors is also informed by our significant experience advising clients and their legal counsel on actuarial issues related to pension litigation.
