George & Bell Consulting is seeking an experienced investment professional to join our Investment Consulting Practice as a full-time Consultant, with a focus on leading and supporting our growing presence in Western and Central Canada. This role includes managing client relationships, overseeing investment projects, and contributing to business development in a region with an expanding institutional client base.

You will engage with a wide range of institutional investors, including pension plans, foundations, Indigenous trusts and communities, and other long-term asset owners, delivering practical, high-quality advice tailored to their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support key client relationships in Western, Central and Northern Canada
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations (some travel required)
  • Manage investment consulting projects and ensure delivery of high-quality, timely advice
  • Oversee the preparation and review of client reports and presentations, including performance monitoring and investment strategy analysis
  • Contribute to the growth of our client base and services in the region
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm and leverage internal resources effectively
  • Stay current on industry developments, investment trends, and regulatory changes

Qualifications

  • 5 to 15 years of experience in investment consulting, institutional asset management, or a related field
  • Direct experience working with institutional investors, such as pension plans, endowments, foundations, and Indigenous communities
  • Strong knowledge of institutional investing, governance frameworks, and investment decision-making processes
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, respond promptly and effectively to client needs, and build strong relationships
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline; preference will be given to CFA charterholders or candidates with a graduate degree in a related field
  • Commitment to accountability, professionalism, and high-quality work
