Scott Lunney

Experience

Scott Lunney has worked in the benefits, pension and investment fields for 11 years.

He has experience performing asset mix studies and asset liability modelling, working with institutional clients to develop and refine investment policies, portfolio monitoring, conducting research and providing recommendations on a wide variety of investment topics for clients.

Prior to joining George & Bell, Scott was an Actuarial Analyst at a major consulting firm where he advised clients on their group benefit plans and performed actuarial valuations.

Before moving into the consulting field, Scott worked as the statistician for the British Columbia provincial government’s mineral economics division where he developed models to analyze the global mining economy. He was also a calculus course instructor at the University of Victoria.

Qualifications & Education

Scott holds a Master of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Honours Mathematics with a Minor in Computer Science from the University of Victoria. He is currently pursuing CFA and FCIA designations.
