Experience

Jojy has worked in the health benefits field for over 14 years.  He provides consulting expertise to a diverse set of clients, varying in size and complexity in both the public and private sectors.

He advises organizations in a variety of areas of benefit plan management ranging from financial modeling to stakeholder engagement.  He has extensive experience designing and managing both traditional and flexible benefit programs and actively advocates on behalf of his clients to ensure that they are receiving optimal contractual arrangements, service levels and pricing through their vendor partners.

Jojy supports a wide range of clients in ensuring that their benefit plan decisions align to their total rewards strategies and organizational objectives.  He frequently provides insights and recommendations to trustee boards and executive leadership and works closely with committees comprised of employer and union representatives to ensure their voices and opinions are understood in developing a collaborative path forward.

In particular, he thoroughly enjoys working with clients to enhance their approaches and vendor collaboration in the area of disability plan strategy.  He uses his knowledge of pricing, reserving and market best practices to help guide clients in making decisions that focus on the needs of disabled claimants while managing key plan risks.

Prior to joining George & Bell, Jojy was a consultant with a large global consulting firm where he advised and worked closely with a number of organizations across Canada, namely in the Prairies Region.
